Bryce's 9 Month Photo Session
It might be one of the top perks of my job! When a amazing family like the Filer's purchase my First Year package and I get to photograph this little guy 5 times over the course of a year!! It is so neat to be able to see all the changes Bryce has made over the past 9 months and from here it only gets better because you get to see more of his personality is shinning through!
For Bryce's last sessions we have done early morning because it was the easiest for his schedule but this time Gretchen and I decided to give Bryce's dad, Chad, a break from those early mornings and we were blessed with a great evening! I have been wanting to try Blyth Landing for some time but haven't had a chance and the Filers said yes (plus it is very close to their house, I think I might have gotten double brownie points from Chad!). The water on Lake Norman is low right now which made for a great opportunity to hike down the rip-raff! We were able to get on a small area that is usually under water so we were almost level with the lake and the small rocks quickly became Bryce's favorite thing! (as you can tell in this photo, he wasn't after my camera he was trying to figure out how to make his next rock selection)
When we started this session Gretchen told me that Bryce's was on the grumpier side and she was a little skeptical that we would get any of those adorable smiles! Apparently no matter how grumpy he is, daddy is always funny! With Chad behind me making all kids of noises, we were able to capture the Bryce they get to experience everyday! Once we got into a few family photos, it was all up to me to bring out those little smiles and a quick game of peak-a-boo behind the camera did the trick!!
Gretchen and Chad, y'all are great people and I have truly enjoyed getting to know y'all in each of these sessions. It is so neat to be able to see what amazing parents y'all are in raising this happy little guy!! He is very blessed to have y'all as parents! This last photo might be one of my favorites because even though Bryce's is the one in focus, I can't help but notice the happiness and love I see between y'all! I am looking forward to Bryce's 1 year photos and can't wait to see how much he will have changed!
