Mooresville Family Photographer | Harper

I had to take some time to blog about one sweet little girl's 6 month old photo session. We were all scheduled to do her newborn photos once she was born but had to stay a little longer in the hospital than planed. She has already already overcome some much in her little life that she is an example of strength and overcoming challenges and coming out ahead. Harper was born with some physical challenges and needed surgery soon after birth and has had repeat treatments since. Her parents and grandparents have handled these challenges with strength and grace and it was a pleasure to be able to take there family photos in the same location as her parents were married in Davidson, NC. 

Katy Short is a family photographer but does any and all things from engagements, to weddings, to newborns and family portraits with young and grown kids. She loves God, her Mr. Fix-it husband, three daughters, anything with chocolate. She is grew up in southern Louisiana but loves that she gets to call Mooresville, NC home and she secretly hopes to be able to move back so her daughter’s can experience all the unique things that make Louisiana special.
